Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Amaircare is looking for an individual who wants to be an active member of a close team working toward achieving a common goal. An ideal candidate would see themselves working at Amaircare for the next 5 - 10 years, growing within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with Order Desk and Sales Department to obtain daily incoming orders
  • Plan outgoing shipments in accordance with the factory production schedule and requirements of the Sales Department
  • Schedule, coordinate and book freight for ground, ocean and air transport of domestic, cross border and international shipments
  • Negotiate freight rates for all outbound and inbound transportation with carriers
  • Ensure finished product is accurately labelled for stock and shipments and is verified by a minimum of two staff members
  • Coordinate with Purchasing Department to obtain monthly/weekly/daily incoming component deliveries
  • Receive and check product components for manufacturing division, notify Purchasing and Plant Manager when incoming orders have been delivered
  • Disperse received components to appropriate production departments or appropriate storage location in the factory
  • Maintain accurate records of final goods inventory and report
  • Monitor and requisition stock and packaging of finished goods for inventory
  • Oversee loading and accuracy of large shipment containers for export
 
Skills & Requirements
 
  • Required to lift up to 23 Kg (50 lbs.) 
  • Valid Forklift license
  • Accurate, keen attention to detail
  • Highly organized and excellent time management
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and other Software
  • Use of Multifunction (print/scan/fax/email) device
  • Clear and concise communications 
  • Able to prioritize in time sensitive situations
  • Work autonomously and ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Nice To Have
  • Experience with inventory and/or accounting software a plus
